Applications invited for the Post of Manager in ICMR
One post of Project Manager is to be filled in the project entitled “Reducing Maternal mortality and morbidity through promotion of evidence based intrapartum and early postpartum care – an ICMR-UNFPA Task Force study” in the Division of Reproductive Health & Nutrition at ICMR Hqrs, New Delhi.
SALIENT FEATURES Post: Project Manager Remuneration: Rs 35,000 -50,000 pm (consolidated) Age: Up to 65 years, can be relaxed for deserving candidates. Retired
persons can also be considered if they meet the job requirements.
Qualifications:
- § Post-graduate in Life sciences/Statistics with knowledge of computer programming.
- § 15 years experience of working in research/scientific institutions and in conducting multicentric operational research projects in reproductive health.
- § Knowledge of statistical analysis using EPI, SPSS packages.
Nature of duties: The incumbent would be responsible for the overall implementation of the project in the selected sites and would act as a link between ICMR and the project staff. Responsibilities include training of project staff; monitoring including site visits; data management and analysis; preparation of study report & dissemination material.
Duration: one year The post is to be filled on purely temporary basis for the duration of one year. The appointment can be terminated with one month notice from either side. The incumbent will have no claim for regular appointment. No benefit of provident fund, HRA, CCA, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Claim etc. will be admissible, since the post is on purely temporary basis. No TA/DA etc. will be given to attend the personal discussion.
