    Recruitment of Superintendent (Legal) in Legislative Department, Ministry of Law & Justice

    One Superintendent (Legal) in Legislative Department, Ministry of Law & Justice.

    Qualifications :  Essential :   Educational :  i) Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized University or equivalent. ii) Should have four years’ experience as an officer of the State Judicial Service OR Should have four years’ experience in the Legal Department of a State OR Should be a Central Government Servant who has four years’ experience in legal affairs OR should be a qualified legal practitioner.

    NOTE – I : In computing the period which a person has held any office in the State Judicial Service or in the legal Department of a State or has been a Central Government servant having experience in legal affairs, there shall be included any period during which he has held any of the other aforesaid offices or any period during which he had been a legal practitioner.

    NOTE –II : In computing the period during which a person has been a qualified legal practitioner, there shall be included any period during which he has held any office in the State Judicial Service or in the Legal Department of a State or has been a Central Government having experience in legal affairs.

    NOTE –III : The term “Qualified Legal Practitioner” in relation to this clause means an advocate or a pleader who has practiced as such for four years.  Duties :  Submission of legislative proposals received from various administrative Ministries/Departments for drafting of Bills, Ordinances, President’s Act and Regulations etc.   Scrutiny and vetting of statutory rules, Orders etc. assigned and marked by the Group In charge. Supervision of Sections and allocation of work to the staff in the sections.
