VH (Visually Handicapped)-Acuity not exceeding 6/60 or 20/200 (snellen) in the better eye with correcting lenses or limitation of the field of vision subtending angle of 20 Degree or worse and Low vision.
HH (Hearing Handicapped)-Loss of hearing capacity of 60 decibels or more in the better ear in the conversational range of frequencies.
OH (Orthopaedically Handicapped)-Minimum 40% of physical defect or deformity, which causes an interference with the normal functioning of the bones, muscles and joints.
_ Candidates not possessing required qualification criteria as on 01.02.2010 need not apply. _ Candidates possessing higher qualification than the required qualification need not apply. _ Candidates should have put in 15 years of service in Armed Forces for the posts reserved for Ex-Servicemen
AGE LIMIT / RELAXATION / CONCESSION
The candidate should be below 28 (Twenty Eight) years as on 01.02.2010.
Reservation/Concessions for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/XSM & PWD categories would be made as per the Government Directives.
Age will be relaxed for candidates belonging to SC/ ST category by five years and for OBC’s category by three years (provided a latest certificate of not belonging to Creamy Layer in the format prescribed by Govt. of India from a Competent Authority is enclosed with the application). In respect of Persons with Disability (PWD), upper age limit is relaxable by 10 years, which will be over and above the relaxation admissible for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category. The candidates need to produce their community/Disability certificate in proof of their Community/Disability in the prescribed Format. The age limit is relaxable to candidates with relevant post qualification experience, to a maximum extent of 7 years. Relaxation in age would be one year for every completed year of post qualification experience over and above 28 years subject to a maximum limit of 35 years.
The prescribed age limit may be further relaxed for Ex-apprentices of HAL, Barrackpore Division, to the extent of the period of Apprenticeship undergone.
For Ex-servicemen, 35 years after deducting total period of service in Armed-Forces plus 3 years. Further, relaxable for SC/ST/OBC & PWD candidates as per rules.
HEALTH
Applicants should be of sound health and should meet the medical standards prescribed by the Company. Appointment of selected candidates will be subject to receipt of satisfactory medical report from the Company’s Doctor as per the Medical Standards of the Company and satisfactory medical report from the Concerned Authority in respect of PWD candidates.
APPLICATION FEE
Rs.100/-, which is non-refundable, is to be sent in the form of crossed Demand Draft drawn on any Nationalized Bank (preferably State Bank of India) in favour of ‘Hindustan Aeronautics Limited’, payable at Kolkata. Candidates belonging to SC / ST / PWD category are exempted from payment of Application Fee.
SELECTION PROCEDURE:
Eligible candidates short-listed based on the initial screening only will be called for Written Test. Candidates who qualify in the written test only will be called for Practical Test (wherever applicable) and Personal Interview. Date, Time and Venue of the Written Test / Practical Test / Interview will be intimated to the short-listed/eligible candidates by E-mail / HAL Website / Post. Written Test /Practical Test / Interview will be held at Kolkata / Barrackpore only. Candidates short listed for Interview are required to bring the certificates / documents (Original and attested Photocopies) in proof of Age, Qualification, Experience, Training, Caste, Disability (As applicable), Discharge Book (In respect of Ex-Servicemen), Employment Exchange Registration card etc and three passport size photographs at the time of Interview.
URERAL CONDITIONS
Only Indian Nationals need to apply.
Applicants serving in Government/Public Sector, Semi-Government Organizations should produce “No Objection Certificate” at the time of Written Test / Interview.
CGPA, FCPI etc wherever applicable should compulsorily be converted into percentage of marks as per the University / Institution norms. Candidate must indicate the aggregate marks (of all semesters / years put together) obtained in ITI / NAC / Diploma / Degree etc in the Bio-data form. Aggregate marks are to be calculated as shown below:
Total marks obtained in all semesters or years ___________________________________________ X 100 Maximum marks (cumulative of all semesters or years) Canvassing in any form or bringing outside influence will be a disqualification.
Appointment of selected candidates is subject to receipt of satisfactory Medical Report from the Company’s Doctor as per the standards prescribed by HAL (Concerned authority in respect of PWD candidates) and verification of Caste, Character and Antecedents from the concerned Authorities as per the rules of the company and Vigilance Clearance (As applicable).
HAL reserves the right to increase / decrease the specification depending upon the response. Mere submission of application will not entail right for claiming employment.
Decision of HAL Management regarding selection will be final. Further, HAL Management reserves the right to fill up or otherwise any or all the notified posts and also to fill up the future vacancies if any from the valid panel of selected candidates as per the rules of the company.
The vacancies identified are to be filled up by external candidates only.
Candidate availing age relaxation on account of relevant post qualification experience, should produce proper experience certificate and proof of employment at the time of interview failing which they will not be permitted to appear for Interview.
Candidates are required to apply against only one post in response to the above advertisement.
Before applying the candidates should satisfy themselves regarding eligibility criteria desired for the post. Appearance of the shortlisted candidates in the written test is provisional and it does not entitle them for any claim for the post. They will be treated as debarred ab-initio at any stage of the recruitment process in case they do not fulfil essential eligibility criteria.
