Engagement of superannuated Officers at HAL Aircraft Division,
Nasik on contract basis as Consultant (Quality)

Qualification : Degree in Engineering/Technology in Mechanical discipline from the recognized University/Institution or its equivalent.
Experience: The candidate should possess 25 years or more of experience of which minimum three years should be as Head of the Quality Department in an Aircraft / Aviation industry.
AGE : Maximum age limit is 62 years as on 01.11.2009.
Job Specifications: The incumbent will be responsible for
- Devise, review, improve and implement quality plans, systems and procedures for approval and accreditation
- Organize and analyze data to focus on rejections and failures and suggest corrective actions
- Interact with design, technology and other departments for problem solving, production permits and concessions
- Organize and conduct technical meetings with DQAQA, RCMA, Air Force Liaison Establishment, and customers for defect investigations, salvage actions and for implementation of remedial measures
- Arrange internal audits, need based investigations and workshops to ensure systemic and procedural compliance and improvements
- Interact with customers and sister divisions to resolve quality issues
- Ensure currency of calibration of different equipment and facilities for sustaining their productive use
- Prepare for external audits and statutory requirements on a requirement basis
- Conduct Vendors audit at various locations
