Various Non Teaching Posts Recruitment for IIT Ropar-2010
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Ropar invites applications for the following non teaching posts:
1. Name of Post: Superintending Engineer
Total Vacancies: 01 (Deputation)
Qualifications: Candidate having Civil Enlineering and experience in Construction and maintenance of Civil Works as a Coordinator or Supervisor.
Candidates having Master's Degree in Construction Management will be preferred.
2. Name of Post: Deputy Registrar
Total Vacancies: 01
Pay Scale: 15600-39100 and Grade pay Rs. 7600 (PB-3)
Qualifications:
PG Degree with minimum 55% marks and minimum 5 years experience in Administration or Finance or Accounts or Establishment as Assistant Registrar.
Candidates having experience in analogues posts in IIT system will be preferred.
3. Name of Post: Senior Library Information Assistant
Total Vacancies: 02
Pay Scale: 9300-34800 and a Grade Pay 4200
Qualifications:
Candidates having Degree from a Recognised University or institution and minimum experience of two years in a computerized library or candidates having atleast 1 year centificate in computer applications.
4. Name of Post: Junior Superintendent
Total Vacancies: 02
Pay Scale: 9300-34800 and Grade pay of Rs. 4200 (PB-2)
Qualifications:
Candidates having Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree and minimum 2 years experience as Personal Assistant or Secretary of any senior level officer. Candidates should have typing speed of 100 words per minute typing speed and knowledge of computers.
5. Name of Post: Junior Accountant
Total Vacancies: 02
Pay Scale: 5200-20200 and a Grade Pay of Rs. 2400 (PB-1)
Qualifications:
Candidates having Bachelor's Degree in Commerce and minimum 2 years experience and knowledge of accounting software.
6. Name of Post: Junior Assistant
Total Vacancies: 03
Pay Scale: 5200-20200 and Grade Pay of Rs. 2000 (PB-1)
Qualifications:
Candidates should be graduate and should have the knowledge of computer applications.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit for S.No. 3 and S.No. 4 is 32 years, for S.No. 5 and 6 27 years as on 31st March 2010.
Applications fee: Rs. 100 for S.No. 1 and 2, Rs. 50 for S.No. 3 to 6 in the form of Demand Draft or Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of Registrar IIT Ropar payable at Rupnagar.
