About the Board:
Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board came into existence in 1966, the board has been conducting the SSLC and other examinations. Each year the students strength is increasing tremendously. For the academic year March 2009 about 8.69 lakh students appeared for SSLC exams. The Board has been successfully completing the examinations since its inception. The board decided to improve the system of evaluation and results, each year the amount of review boards has increased and the offices of the division, therefore, the Commission was established to centralize the needs of students.
