National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER)
National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) is the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences class with the stated aim of becoming a center of excellence for higher education and research in pharmaceutical sciences. The Government of India has declared NIPER as an Institute of national importance. It is an autonomous body established under the auspices of the Department of Pharmacy, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India. The Institute is designed to provide leadership in pharmaceutical sciences and related fields, not only in the country, but also for the South East, South Asia and Africa. NIPER is a member of the Association of Universities of India and the Association of Commonwealth Universities.
