    In Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Astronomy & Junior Science (leading to participation in International Olympiads)

    INVITATION TO MERITORIOUS STUDENTS PARTICIPATE in the International Olympiads 2011 in Physics (Bangkok, Thailand), Chemistry (Ankara, Turkey), BioI09V (Chinese Taipei), Astronomy (Poland) and Junior Science (Durban, South Africa) and bring laurels to your country.

    Eligibility

    Olympiads in Physics, Chemistry and Biology : Science students of Class XII or lower as of November 30, 2010 (Born on or after 1.7.1991).

    Astronomy Olympiad : Students of Class XII or lower as of November 30, 2010 (Born on or after 1.1.1992).

    Junior Science Olympiad : Students of Class X or lower as of November 30, 2010 (Born on or after 1.1.1996).

    The programme will follow 5 stages. The first stage will be
    organised by IAPT. All the subsequent stages will be organised by
    HBCSE.

    National Standard Examination in Physics (NSEP)
    National Standard Examination in Chemistry (NSEC)
    National Standard Examination in Biology (NSEB)

    National Standard Examination in Junior Science (NSEJS)
    NSEP / NSEC/ NSEB/ NSEA / NSEJS

    Date of Examination : Sunday, November 28, 2010.

    Last Date of Enrollment : September 15, 2010.

    About 300 toppers in each subject will qualify for Stage II

    Stage ll :

    Indian National Olympiads in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Astronomy and Junior Science : INPhO, INChO, INBO, INAO, INJSO.

    Stage III :

    Orientation Cum Selection Camps (OCSC) in each subject.

    The selected Indian teams at the end of OCSC will undergo pre-departure training (Stage IV) and participate in the respective International Olympiads (Stage V).
