Applications are invited for the following post under NeuroAIDS Study Project. This post is purely temporary and is to be filled for the period up to 31/05/2013 and may be renewed if the project sanction gets extended.
1. Name of Post: Lab Technician

Number of Posts: 01

Maximum Age: Not exceeding 30 Years

Salary: Rs. 18360 Per Month

Qualification: Candidates with 10+2 Pass with science subjects or equivalent from a recognized board with Diploma in DMLT from Govt. recognized Organizations/ Institutes/ Medical Colleges.
Desirable Qualification:

i. B. Sc/M. Sc in Life Sciences with DMLT from Govt. recognized Organizations/Institute/Medical College.

ii. Candidate with experience of working in a Clinical Pathology, Clinical Biochemistry & Hematology lab; knowledge of Bed side assays (wet urine analysis, RPR etc. ) & work
experience in a NABL accredited lab will be preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Receive samples, sample verification, separation and labeling.

2. Perform the assay as per SOP.

3. Data entry and storage (e.g. LDMS whenever applicable).

4. Comply with bio safety and biomedical waste disposal guidelines supervise bio-medical wastedisposal from the section.
