The Department of Economics, University of Pune is advertising for the post of two  Teaching Associates (appointment up-to 31st May 2013, purely temporary). The Teaching Associates will have to conduct regular as well as tutorials/bridge/remedial courses in English and Marathi for MA students.

Notification for the Post of Teaching Associate (One open and One reserve category)
1. Name of Post: Teaching Associate

Number of Posts: 02 (one open and one reserved)

Salary: Rs. 18,000/- per month (consolidated)

Qualification: Candidates with MA in Economics with minimum of 55% for open and 50% marks for Reserve Category.

Specialization: Micro economics, Macroeconomics, Public Finance, International Economics, Economics of Agriculture.

Desirable Qualifications: Past experience of research or teaching, good communication skills, NET/SET desirable.
