1. Name of Post: Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

Number of Posts: 01

Maximum Age: 32 years as on 20.07.2012.

Salary: Rs. 21600/- Per Month (Consolidated)

Qualification: Candidates with M.Sc. with First Class in Physics or Chemistry with NET/GATE/SET qualified OR 1-2 years R & D Experience in reputed Lab/University/College/Industry (Preference will be given to the candidate having experience in similar field with published work.
2. Name of Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Number of Posts: 02

Maximum Age: 28 years as on 20.07.2012.

Salary: Rs. 19,200/- Per Month (Consolidated) for first two years and Rs. 18,000/- + 20% HRA Rs. 3,600/- Total Rs. 21,600/- Per Month (Consolidated) for third Year.

Qualification: Candidates with M.Sc. with First Class in Physics or Chemistry with NET/GATE/SET qualified OR 1-2 years R & D Experience in reputed Lab/University/College/Industry
3. Name of Post: Junior Research Fellow /Project staff – I

Number of Posts: 04

Maximum Age: 28 years as on 20.07.2012.

Salary:

For JRF: Rs. 19,200/- per month(Consolidated) for First two years and Rs. 18,000/- +HRA @ 20%=Rs.3,600/- Total = Rs. 21,600/- per month for third year (Consolidated).

For Project Staff-I: Rs. 14,400/- per month (Consolidated)

Qualification: Candidates with M.Sc First Class or Second Class (55% if NET/ GATE qualified) in Physics (Materials Science/ Solid State Physics/ Electronics Science/Chemistry with Hand on experience preferably in the area of synthesis of materials photoconductivity, thin film/ thick film technology etc. If the candidate along with NET/GATE is not available/ found suitable, Candidate with M.Sc. background as stated above will be appointed as Project Staff-I3. 4. Name of Post: Project staff – I

Number of Posts: 02

Maximum Age: 28 years as on 20.07.2012.

Salary: Rs. 14,400/- Per Month (Consolidated)

Qualification: Candidates with M.Sc first class in Physics or Chemistry. (If the candidates with M.Sc first class are not found suitable then M.Sc. second class candidates may be considered).
Application fee: Rs. 50/= for all above posts by demand draft only in favour of C-MET, payable at Pune. No application fee for SC/ST candidates and female candidates. Applications received without application fee will not be considered and fee once paid will not be refunded on any account.
